Justin Trudeau - Making Life More Affordable

Recommended Posts

Groceries, cell phone bills, child care, it all adds up. And in a country as prosperous as Canada, it shouldn’t be as tough as it is for some to make ends meet.

So, we’re going to put an extra $1,500 a year directly into the pockets of Canadian families by cutting taxes for the middle class and lowering cell phone bills by 25%.

Under our plan, you won’t pay taxes on the first $15,000 of income you earn. It’ll save the average middle class Canadian $292 every year. And for the average middle class family, that’s $585 to help pay for the necessities.

And speaking of necessities, we all know how important it is to be connected today. But in Canada, we pay a lot of money for cell phone plans – they’re some of the most expensive in the G7. And that’s a real problem.

We’ll cut cell phone bills by 25% so you won’t have to choose between having a cell phone and heating your home.

While the Conservatives are focused on helping the wealthiest 1%, the Liberal team will always be focused on making life better and more affordable for middle class families.
